Methods To Prolong The Lifespan of Cutting Tools

Insight Hardware Industry & Trade Co., Ltd was founded in Yangjiang, a well known city of knives and scissors in China in 2003, committing to the design, production and sales of knives as well as kitchen tools. As a professional kitchen knife supplier, we would like to share the cleaning way, maintenance methods and warm tips for kitchen knives to you:

Cleaning Way:

①Clean immediately after use to avoid food residue and stains. You can use warm water and mild detergent to clean, or rinse with running water.

②Avoid using overheated water to prevent damage the blade.

③Avoid using abrasive cleaners such as abrasives, strong acidic or alkaline cleaners, which can damage the blade and shorten its lifespan.

④It is recommended to use a sponge or soft cloth to gently wipe. Please do not use the steel wire balls or hard brushes that can scratch the blade.

Maintaining Method:

①If kitchen knives become dull, the water grinding method can be used to restore its sharpness. Professional knife sharpeners also are great way.

Grind the tool back and forth on the sharpening stone at an angle of 15-20 degrees. Please pay attention to maintaining appropriate force and angle.

②After use, dry the cutting tool and apply a layer of rust proof oil or cooked cooking oil to prevent the blade from rusting.

③Use knife holders to store them, ensuring they do not come into contact with each other and avoiding scratches and damage.

④Place place kitchen knives in a ventilated and dry place. Please keep away from water sources and gas stoves to prevent rusting.

Warm Tips:

①Kitchen knives should not cut hard objects such as metal or wood to damage the blade.

②Cutting tools should get away from heat sources to prevent damage or burns.

③Keep out of reach of children to ensure safety.

④By following the above methods, it is possible to ensure that kitchen knives are always in the best condition, providing convenience and safety for cooking.
